I have been a loyal donor since it was ZLB Plasma.I went in to donate this past Wednesday after they opened at 7.After finally waiting to get into a screening booth my vitals were taken. The next thing that I knew this short ,older woman who works there came up to me and asked me how I was.I replied ok to which she said I wasn't going to be able to donate because I had an odor about me.I tried telling her that I had a shower the night before I went to bed but she wouldn't listen.I left there very hurt, angry and offended. After I got home I called corporate and filed a complaint with them.If I don't get any satisfactory results with this my next step will be to contact an attorney as well as the local news media.I'm being singled out unfairly and in a discriminatory manner. This place is a joke.I sure won't be recommending this place to anybody.just the opposite!

I am a frequent plasma donor. I use this money which is convenient for me and my family on our grocery bill. I visited on August 28th 2016 around 3 o'clock p.m. and as I was donating plasma one of the technicians saw that my canister was full of blood he turned and looked at the other technician NSAID you didn't close this thing. I wasn't sure what he was talking about but as I looked at my machine I could see that this lever was in the upright position which it should have been in the down position therefore blood was donated into this canister now I am being being punished and I can't return for another two months this is totally unfair I did all the steps and procedures that is asked of me drinking plenty of water having a full meal before I get there and now a technician messed up and now I cannot donate plasma for 2 months that's an equivalent to about $600 then this is the money I use for me and my wife and kids on our food.I am very upset. I've been donating to CSL for over 6 months now and find the staff to be professional, concerned and attentive to their donors. I used to be a faithful Red Cross donor until someone referred me to CSL. Red Cross did a blood drive at Citadel Mall a while ago. Before donating I asked about the "gifts" for the donors, they said they still had them. I said ok because I really wanted the Cinnebarre tickets. But they pulled fast one and AFTER I donated and asked for it then they said they ran out since midday. Had they been truthful beforehand I still would have donated. Needless to say that was my last donation, even though they have offered to pick me up to come in to donate. Apparently I have something in my blood that makes me a good platelet donor. At CSL you get paid and plus get bonuses which are good incentives to keep donating. New donors should be prepared to stay for a while because you have to be interviewed and get a physical. After that it's pretty smooth sailing.

I am a plasma donor at CSL and I must say out of the 130 donations that I have given that I have always been treated with respect. Sometimes you do have to wait about 30 minutes depending on the day you go but I found a time that fits my schedule and I never have to wait longer than 10 minutes. Let's be honest its nice to make money to relax and watch TV and I still get the satisfaction of knowing I made a difference today.

I've been a quarterly-or-so Red Cross donor since I was in my 20s, and only just found out that one could pick up a few dollars for basically doing the kinda the same thing but twice a week. I've been going twice a week for a while now, and I'm gradually figuring out the things we need to know that they're not going to completely tell us about. The only way I found out about the foods we're not supposed to eat was by the Donation Time taking over two hours. Finally someone asked "What did you eat yesterday?" and I THEN heard "No pork, no pasta, and no rice for 24 hours before. Okay, gotcha. The NEXT time, the 24-hour statement suddenly "24 toTHIRTY-SIX(!) hours." Okay, another nugget of knowledge. So, maybe, as I do things WRONG and learn that I did, I'll eventually have it figure out! Sure seems like the HARD way, though. But everyone is very polite, friendly, and professional (I've become immune to people talking on cels while talking to me, I seethe quietly and say nothing.) I would not go back to this place! I would rather pawn something. I came in as a new donor and it was a problem for them to take my blood because of a tattoo I got that's been over a year ago. But, they are taking blood from people who look like straight up crack heads n pot smokers! The staff's whole vibe that I got was "straight up attitude" they need to work on the customer service skills, being people friendly, something? Bad experience and I wouldn't even think about going back.

My husband wanted to stop by to see what was required to donate plasma here, so myself and my newborn went in with him so we wouldn't have to wait in the car while he spoke with the receptionist. I got two feet in the door when a woman started yelling at me across the room that children weren't allowed there. I said I was sorry, I didn't see a sign and didn't know and then turned around to leave. She continued to yell at me across the room to get out, etc. She was extremely rude, and to make it worse another worker behind the counter was staring and snickering as I tried to rush out the door. My husband came out a few minutes later saying he never even found out what was required to donate because the woman behind the counter was busy talking on her cell having a personal conversation and he got fed up and left. If you need the money or want to do this out of the goodness of your heart, go somewhere you wont have to put up with the bad attitude!
