I have never been a big Nightwish fan, but my brother always played their albums around me in my teens. Their symphonic power metal ways have made them one of the biggest Finnish bands in the world, and certainly the biggest Finnish sensation overseas. So why on Earth would I shell out (a ridiculous sum of, I might add) money for one of their live Blu-rays? Because I heard their new vocalist, Floor Jansen.
Nightwish began with opera diva Tarja Turunen, but she eventually left the band in 2005, to be replaced by Swedish Anette Olzen, a woman who is almost her exact polar opposite: poppy, conventional, not dramatic and big in almost any way. Neither one really captivated me…

Nightwish hat mit der Präsenz und dem stimmlichen Variantenreichtum vonFloor Jansen ein musikalisches Niveau erreicht das an der Perfektion kratzt!

Jedes Lied (eigentlich müsste man von Kompositionen sprechen) anders als das vorherige, dass spielen mit den Emotionen, der Sound, die Produktion, es passt einfach alles perfekt zu einander!
Dazu ist hier jedes Mitglied der Band in dem was er tut auf absolutem Spitzenniveau.Ich kann mich nicht erinnern das mich Musik jemals so gepackt hat, die einzigsten die das bis jetzt schafften waren Queenund über die muss ich ja jetzt wirklich nichts mehr schreiben.
Da ich Konzerte keine offiziellen Sterne gebe hier trotzdem inoffizielle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

JFC, Floor Jansen might be the most rawly talented "metal" singer this side of Daniel Gildenlow. She nails so many styles on here, and improves almost every song they do. Not that I'm intimately familiar with any of the material on here; Oceanborn is the only album of theirs I know inside and out and has no representation here. I've only heard the others a couple times each. But this is GREAT singing and she goes from sounding like a less wooden Tarja on some of the old material (ex She is my Sin) to fully convincing snarly rock singer on others (ex Romanticide). I remember liking Olzon's singing on the prior two albums, but that material sounded even better…
