Be sure to give it a good shake before using. Do not store at room temperature, or in the freezer. As this creamer is made with dairy, it is not safe to keep at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Freezing may change the consistency of the creamer in an unappetizing way.

If you must freeze this easy homemade pumpkin spice coffee creamer for longer storage, I would suggest freezing it in ice cube trays and then transferring the creamer cubes to a resealable freezer bag.

About the Ingredients for Pumpkin Spice Creamer

This pumpkin spice coffee creamer recipe is made with basic pantry ingredients.

Whipping cream – You can use half and half or even whole milk for a lower fat creamer with a thinner consistency. Use heavy cream for a rich, thick creamer with the best consistency and flavour. Canned coconut milk or almond milk work well if you need a non-dairy option.

Maple syrup – You can use any sweetener here to taste really. Use granulated sugar if you want a lower cost option, or use your favourite sugar substitute if you want to go sugar free. Feel free to adjust the amount of sweetener added to suit your tastes. Make sure you use pure maple syrup though, and avoid using table syrup.

Pumpkin puree – Use 100% pure pumpkin puree, do not use pumpkin pie filling. Stock up on real pumpkin puree in the fall so you have enjoy pumpkin spice any time you like! I like to make my own pumpkin puree and freeze it for just this reason.

Spices – You can use pumpkin pie spice, or make your own homemade pumpkin pie spice with the classic warming spices – cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and allspice.

Sweetened condensed milk – If you are going sugar-free here then you can use evaporated milk instead. I would recommend though, going as far as making homemade sugar-free condensed milk. Wholesome Yum has a fantastic recipe for keto sugar-free sweetened condensed milk that also works if you are looking for more natural ingredients or just to avoid refined sugar.

Vanilla extract – Rounds out all the flavours. Add more to taste if you like!

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, whisk heavy whipping cream, maple syrup, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon together until it begins to simmer.

Slowly pour in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, continuously whisking for about 2-3 minutes.

Allow to cool and transfer creamer into a covered container.

Store in refrigerator for up to 10 days.

Be sure to shake before using.
